but, as gm was leaving he bumped into jez Wilkins and was unable to sort out the shutters as planned.
for some reason he was unable to tell kate of the lack of jemmied shutters.
then when km went to do her check, fully expecting the shutters to have already been sorted, she may not have even gone into the kids room but waited a minute or so then ran over to the tapas bar and raised the alarm as planned.
maybe she didn't even know later on that the shutters hadn't been done hence her phoning home and telling everyone the 'jemmied' story
then once she found out that they hadn't been done had to change their story to the 'open patio door' bs
I cant imagine why km would come out with the 'jemmied shutters' story unless it was already preplanned. 
can anyone confirm that gm's meeting with jez Wilkins happened inbetween gm's and km's 'checks' ??

On 13th July 2015 at 20.31.48 there was an opposition to the appeal filed at Ms Duarte's office by Mr Correia Afonso on behalf of the McCanns.

  • Isabel Oliveira That's the notice for GA's appeal filing it says , in summary now since I'm on my phone ) proof of filing of processual piece ( the appeal ) then details about time and date filed , which court , and at the very bottom it says add to existing process , then bottom right : process number ( the process , the appeal and the contestation if the appeal are now all part of the existing process and the file number is the same) .

  • Isabel Oliveira Can't answer that without knowing what their contestation is about . If it is a formal matter that implies submission of more documents , then the answer would be yes . If it is a substantial ( legal content ) contestation then I don't think so . But hard to tell without knowing what it is they contested .

    500 thousand for pseudo psychological distress from a factual book , from two people that courted the media since day one and to their benefit , to claim their innocence and save their skins . It's obscene !

  • Heather Hopper Linda used the name Steel Magnolia for her wonderful blog.She had terminal breast cancer yet continued to blog right up to the end of her life. She was a personal friend of mine and helped me on a personal level when she was very ill. Dawn, another young woman who was very focussed on the case who sadly took her own life.

  • Tracey Mitchell Awww Rip Buster, Springers are wonderful dogs, with all 3 of mine I was broken hearted when they passed, they are the most intellegent, loving animals you can get. My five month old sat staring up at my loft for ages and wouldn't move, was freaked out thought there was something up there, turns out his teddy had been dropped in a box with stuff I had packed away...they don't use them as sniffer dogs for nothing.

Can you speak Spanish ? In this Spanish tv interview with the Portuguese investigation forensic doctor, he confirms that if the parents were Portuguese they would be in jail already, because of the evidence of cadaver dogs. Also, he explains that he found reallyweird that the Mcccaans, instead of asking for police to look for their daughter in the first place, they asked to see a priest, right after the disappereance. The second thing they asked for,, was to find an image advisor.

    This is a very powerful discussion. I wish my Spanish was better. Comes across LOUD and CLEAR to me that none of those people believed a word that was uttered by the McCanns or their media team.

  • Tracey Mitchell He may have deleted encrypted stuff on his computer but without evidence that he was involved in the disappearance of Madeleine those files could be about anything, so only supposition. There is no evidence that he was involved at all, he was quite helpful to the police and made himself stand out....they saw him coming

I'm watching the Secret Life of Twins. Apparently identical twins DO have differences in DNA.And it takes months for these samples to be analysed in a lab. I've just watched a medical sniffer dog , in SECONDS, alert to the DNA of one of the baby twins he has been trained to detect. The twins' samples were in with 5 other different samples of DNA. Dogs unreliable my foot.

  • Linda Holden When you look at the Twin DNA link above and see the tiny differences in the DNA and what has to be done to detect this in a lab, it makes you realise just how incredible a dog's sense of smell is. There again, in the wild they are reliant on this specialism, so naturally it is highly developed.

9 – NEGLECT? Are you SURE the McCanns neglected their children?

Claiming 'neglect' suggests that it was the reason that Madeleine disappeared! Unless one believes there was an abduction, there were far more serious things happening that night than leaving the children alone...

According to the police investigation, Madeleine had died, they hid her body and simulated an abduction... Neglect is a welcome smokescreen to that accusation!

  • Belinda McCarthy IMO there was no neglect on Sunday night when Mark Warners Nanny was minding Madeleine in apartment 5A. Madeleine fell off top of sofa (holding cuddle cat, hence the cadaver odor on it) smashed her head on the tiled floor & sadly died. The McCanns were terrified of an autopsy being done as it would show long term sedation etc & they would lose their careers & the twins.

  • Jenny Harrison Yes that comment about her perfect genitals bothers me also (haha pretty bothered person aren't I). It's like why would you need to state that. I read about Cat Eye Syndrome of which the colobama in her eye (probably not spelt correctly) is a symptom...there are many others including defects in genitals, seizures and a whole host of things. It's odd she is justifying 'perfect'...no way I would write that, I would be cringed up in a ball in a corner if I had those thoughts.

  • Belinda McCarthy On another topic.... has anyone noticed that Madeleines face & expression in the (photoshopped) tennis photo is so very similar to how she looks in the (IMO Sunday) poolside photo, but wearing Amelias pink hat ?...Surly Kate would have taken several photos at the pool & the expressions seem to match. So easy to photo shop this face onto someone else's court side body. And I recall that the Tapas & McCanns were caught out photographing other peoples children on the tennis courts that week.

8 – Why did McCanns pay £100,000 to TRANSLATE Police Investigation Files BUT don’t want UK Public to see them? (3.08)

On the Official Find Madeleine Facebook group, one of the Rules of the Road' is to NOT ask questions about the investigation as they do not post anything about the investigation on an open page.

Couldn't the information be of importance and CRITICAL in the search for Madeleine? Why are supporters prevented from seeing the files and deprived of information that may help to find Madeleine?

Isn't this something that SHOULD be on an open page to help in the search? The McCanns paid £100,000 (as far as we know with donated money from the fund) to have the files translated and yet do not share on open pages?

Do they share on CLOSED pages?

Support and lovely comments are nice but most people really want to help. Do they face being banned off the page if they ask even though they may have personally contributed to the translation costs?

However, there have been many members of forums and blogs that VOLUNTARILY translated the files, so WE have them here, and one can click on any of the individual files on this page to read about the police investigation.

Thanks to ALL the members that gave their time as without the files we wouldn't be able to see why the police considered Kate and Gerry as 'suspects'.

Is THAT why the McCanns prevent their supporters from viewing the files?

  • David Butler I wonder sometimes that maybe the most outlandish theory could turn out to be the truth eventually. I'd dismiss nothing tbh. Because this cover up seems to be covering up something much bigger imo.
