LOL 3 hrs · Edited · Like · 4 Sarah Conway philippa you are totally entitled to your opinion, I respect that, I feel theres something not right, not right at all re the parents, just my opinion, but the police files where an ongoing collection of evidence statements etc...they are not hear say they are actual noting's of events, statements etc official police work, and Amaral did not look at the case and straight away decide to 'pin' it on the parents as many think, he looked at all possibilities and followed up on all leads re the 'abduction', he was a detective, detecting, he had to look at all possibilities including those close to madeleine, and the most probable conclusion in his opinion and that of the investigating officers including some british at the time, is that there was a cadaver in that apartment, no abduction. ok you might say he has retaliated in writing his book, retaliated to after years of service and an excellent record, being sacked! not because he 'botched' the job either. think id retaliate too. look of course hes emotional about it too, how he was portrayed and has fought back he is only human. For that reason, I understand that we have members join that support the parents. Opinions are everyone's prerogative. I make every attempt to ensure this group is as welcoming as possible and that our great members are helpful in supplying links etc. However, if a new members chooses to just come into this group to discredit the files and to not welcome the information in the files then I have to assume the agenda to be here is not for the reason we are here. Neither the members nor myself have time to cater to members that are here to spread the information used to convince the UK public of the McCann's innocence without having any credible proof. I do not delete threads unnecessarily and I do not ban members indiscriminately but I also value the members here and their opinions and although I will allow Philippa Sangha the opportunity to continue posting it will be subject to scrutiny and member's future approval. I can make decisions but its the members here that have to live with it. If Philippa would like to contact me via PM, that would be helpful to hear your reasons for wanting to be in this group and in the meantime if there is any issues I would appreciate members alerting me or one of the admin.
