Peter Hyatt According to the language: Maddie is dead. She was not sold into a sex slavery ring. In the language, Maddie is beyond help and parental concern. Having said this, there are linguistic indicators that strongly insist that sexual abuse be explored. It could be any number of things; even as medical professionals will use "child sexual abuse" language simply because it enters the thoughts and language of those who deal with it. (police, social workers, teachers, therapists, etc). Yet, there is more here, however, and this week, I am assembling a team of professionals from around the world (English speaking) to join in live analysis at Go To Meeting to first proof my own analysis, but chiefly to explore the linguistic indicators. This case continues to catch the attention of the UK much in the way JBR case has in the US. I believe that Statement Analysis has gotten to the truth of what happened to Maddie, as the parents' language here, and in so many other places, has shown: unintended death due to possible criminal neglect, and subsequent cover up.

Robert Gee I am not a great supporter of you Peter, but that's my choice.We already knew the McCans are devious in extreme and the alleged abduction didn't happen according to the blood and cadaver dogs. What I will say is that all publicity is good publicity and if this helps change the tone of what the media produce all to the good. We are all sick to death of the relentless distortions by the McCann clan, and of their efforts at fund raising to line their pockets. Goncalo was right all along. As you rightly say the pair have not shown the slightest concern for their daughter from the start and know she is dead.

Peter Hyatt Zoe, there are quite a number of people who listened carefully to the McCanns in their various interviews who felt strongly that they were deceptive. What I have done is express the same, but with an explanation of why I found them deceptive. These people, like you, felt strongly all along as we become used to what truth and deception sound like, even to untrained ears. Comments told me that most people understood the McCann's priority: protecting themselves over finding their child. These people all showed good instinct and intuition.

Jennifer Avery The level of concern for the remaining children that are in the home of these two should be highest -I am not willing to settle that their behaviors have decreased as they perform before public eye.
If anything it's gotten darker and sicker in disguise.

As for the assertion that reddit created the link to hamper a campaign, I would respectfully disagree. Peter Hyatt If we analyze a statement using the outside information, we will taint our analysis. Sooner or later, it will be wrong, and our credibility will be shot. Having said that, once analysis is completed, we allow for the case file and evidence to be weighed against the analysis. This is not done for effect, though it has a powerful effect upon an audience. We want to know nothing about a case other than why the person or people are speaking, and analyze without any outside influence. This is key to our own work's integrity. I can think of a number of cases where I may have been tempted to follow a different line of thought had I allowed myself to be 'contaminated' by external info. Once analysis is complete (the first round), we may then look at the outside evidence, including polygraph, tracker dog scent, and so on, but we MUST allow the statement to guide us. 101.

But to say "stop hating" on the McCanns: here in America, we have been told that if we disagree with politicians we are "racist" and "phobic" and morally so degenerate that we are unworthy of an opinion. As for the assertion that reddit created the link to hamper a campaign, I would respectfully disagree. I didn't vote for either of them and neither did many of the others who dug farther into that pile of disgusting filth than anyone should ever have to. We weren't looking to disrupt anything. Having said that, once analysis is completed, we allow for the case file and evidence to be weighed against the analysis. This is not done for effect, though it has a powerful effect upon an audience. We want to know nothing about a case other than why the person or people are speaking, and analyze without any outside influence. This is key to our own work's integrity. I can think of a number of cases where I may have been tempted to follow a different line of thought had I allowed myself to be 'contaminated' by external info. Once analysis is complete (the first round), we may then look at the outside evidence, including polygraph, tracker dog scent, and so on, but we MUST allow the statement to guide us. 101.

But to say "stop hating" on the McCanns: here in America, we have been told that if we disagree with politicians we are "racist" and "phobic" and morally so degenerate that we are unworthy of an opinion. Steve Grant You're probably right. I would imagine Mr Hyatt's work has ruffled quite a few feathers in his time and he has likely had more than his fair share of interference in order to cause disruption to his investigations. Probably doesn't work at all. 

Peter Hyatt strikes me as a steadfast professional with unrelenting commitment once he's got his teeth into something.

Tonnie Goddard Moon Good point! I, too, wondered about the agenda of those who dismiss this science (and if it's not that, what is?) The people I've introduced to it were just fascinated, eager to read his reports and then just absolutely floored on their accuracy (as he said, the analysis being made before the rest of the case is made lends it much credibility.)
If it's a science to finally reveal the truth (or to reveal an untruth) one would think the world would be excited about it, particularly after the underwhelming accuracy of the now-ancient lie detector test, which was just an embarrassment. To exclude it's evidentiary value in the courtroom speaks volumes: It's not accurate enough. And that was the right call. So you'd think that another, but now solid and reliable, method was being considered allowable in court would be well accepted! I'd think people would be eager to understand it, familiarize themselves with it, sing it's praises. Unless they, for some reason, had something against the truth.
And in courts of law all of the country, there are LOTS of people who, for a variety of reasons, distance themselves from anything resembling the truth. This stuff must scare them to death! ::Picturing Peter's face on the dartboard of every ambulance-chasing attorney in the country::

Jennifer Avery I have seen that kind of "spamming" in another high profile case a few years ago.
Every post that was about the case-concerning the "guilty" party-was hounded and grounded to insults - each and every time-
It got to the point-of exhaustion following the person due to the anger and downright hate campaign.
When the case was deemed closed by authorities-the discussions continued-new opinions appeared-
I never saw the "spammer" again.
It baffled me.
This baffles me.
This kind of behavior baffles me.

However it's teaching me. 
It is easier to walk away from a storm-than be in one.

Tonnie Goddard Moon I, too, recall the work of spammers (plural; there were an army of them) regarding a high profile case I was interested in. 
Thing is, that case was decided nearly 20 years ago. The condemned killer is still guilty, still on Death Row, and is still, unless there's a true miracle really soon, going to die there.

There is simply nothing more to argue on the case. They still make pages to discuss it, but every argument has been heard, every objection addressed, and every opinion considered. It's done.
I dare say that even when the inmate has met the needle (and it's Texas, this is a long stay for Texas) there will still be people on Facebook arguing the evidence.

I don't ever want to have the need they obviously have, to argue for the sake of arguing. They know nobody's going to change their minds on this case. They know that those there have looked at every inch of evidence that jury saw and more. And they know they can't benefit in any way from making (continued) passionate statements calling for mercy, at least, "until we find the 'real killer'!".
Yet they'll still be there, every day, sometimes getting so off-topic that the victims' names aren't mentioned for weeks (I'll mention them for 'em; lest they forgot):

Martina McCosker Don't know about their motives but things have worked out very nicely for them, she's Ambassador for missing children (oh the irony) they are now world famous (for all the wrong reasons) and the biggy for me is their Limited company set up with great speed which employ quite a few family members, some who gave up well paid jobs to cash in on Madeleine's demise, other than suing the world and his dog I haven't the foggiest what the big fraudulent fund has achieved, although they did build a large extension to their home for their smaller family, I would imagine there are huge amounts of cash in offshore accounts which could come in handy if they suddenly have to flee the country, somewhere nice and sunny that doesn't have extradition laws.

Helen Thompson So all I ask is why if this is a professional would he discuss on a Facebook page and you assume my view on the case! Peter claims he is an FBI trainer and a professional in this field therefore he should not be lowering himself to Facebook to get notice he should be going through official channels how ever difficult. Yes I do support Madeleine and her family but I understand people have other views but where I draw the line is nasty personal comments and nasty twisted theories that have no evidence based support.
