I note this gravel area is on a slope and has a block retaining wall on the side and bottom so foundations, even of only shallow will have had to be dug to secure those. The digs Redwood conducted, were in the vicinity of the holiday apartment McCanns and their mates stayed in, in 2007. Redwood wanted to conduct those digs, in the vicinity of those apartments, because he believed Madeleine could have been buried there. Mrs Murat's home is also in the vicinity of those apartments. If Redwood had asked the Portuguese Authority for permission to dig up Mrs Murat's drive, I feel sure he would have been given permission, even if Mrs Murat refused to give him permission. If ever there was an opportunity for Redwood to succeed where the PJ and Martin Grimes two sniffer dogs failed, this was it. I wonder why Redwood didn't seize this opportunity. Think of the huge reward Mr Birch would have received, if the dig had produced Madeleine's body. Once again, I wonder why Redwood didn't seize the opportunity!!!! If you bind ( i.e increase ) any of its components it is by definition no longer cadaverine. I am no chemist ... ( just scraped an 'o' level ) but e.g bleach with a composition of NaOCl is unlikely to bind to cadaverine molecules but there other substances that will. So, bleach will just mask the odour without actually changing the source of it.
